The establishment is well-known in the area for being an unapologetic gay bar, serving explicit-themed menu items such as “sexy Cuban temptress” and a condiment known as “Smack My Cheeks and Make ’em Rosy” sauce. Sarah Leonardi, a member of the Board of Education for Broward County Schools in South Florida, led a group of children at Wilton Manors Elementary School on a field trip to Rosie’s Bar and Grill. Shockingly, the students were taken on a trip to a gay bar. Last week, a group of elementary school students in Florida went on a field trip, but not to the local zoo or a museum.
